The Tannenbaum Chabad HouseThe Tannenbaum Chabad House is a "Home Away from Home" for the Jewish student at Northwestern University. It's your house, and like your home, our doors are always open. Chabad House offers students an opportunity to experience the richness of their heritage and make new friends. The Tannenbaum Chabad House - Northwestern Jewish Center was founded in 1985 to serve the religious, educational, cultural, and social needs of the Jewish population at Northwestern University. Centrally located on campus at 2014 Orrington, Chabad House is a few minutes walk from nearly everywhere on Campus. Over the last decade it has gained deserved prominence as one of the fastest growing and most vibrant, innovative and all-inclusive organizations for Jewish college students in the Chicagoland area. Through all its growth and changes, Chabad's warmth and intimacy remain the some. Chabad House is open to and provides services for all Jewish men and women at Northwestern University, regardless of affiliation and background. Even one visit will convince you that the large group of students involved is far from homogeneous. If you're Jewish, you belong! Chabad House is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You'll always find a friend at the Tannenbaum Chabad House. |
